To build the new campus for the Future Church of the Visitation is a great challenge for our parish. It cannot be accomplished with  just a committee and a handful of people. It  will take the efforts of the entire parish and above all a strong faith that we have truly been called to "Continue The Work of the Lord". Please join us in answering that call by volunteering below.

I Would like to work on Projects or activities associated with the following teams:

Construction /Design Responsible for architect and Engineering firm selection - Finalization of design etc. - Assist in preparation of Bid List. - Approve selection of Prime Trades and Suppliers. - Assist Finance Team with cash flow requirements. - Make all necessary decisions regarding construction. - Authorize construction payments. - Secure As-Built drawings

Faith Center Usage  Identify activities to be conducted in the Faith Formation Center. Determine the space needs for various activities. Prioritize needs for space and activities. Confirm that activities are within zoning regulations. Explore avenues for Fund Raising activities at the Faith Formation Center.

Finance Develop philosophy, investigate resources and make recommendations for: Capital campaign - Long-term financing - Investing excess funds on short-term basis - Securing construction and permanent financing - Disbursing construction funds

Public Relations/Communications Responsible for communications to parish, via bulletin announcements and inserts, monitor articles, web, general publicity, etc. - Keep congregation informed of progress and events - Keep community informed of major events - Keep sister churches and ministries informed of progress - Plan Groundbreaking Ceremony. - Plan Dedication Service - Assist other committees as needed

Parish Center Redesign Develop plans for the physical redesign of the current church

Parish Center Event Development Develop events and activities that can be accomplished with the current building to broaden the sense of community within the parish and to raise funds. - Develop a strategy for the events that could take place in the redesigned church.

Fund Raising Explore fund raising potential – e.g. Car raffle, Vacation Raffle, Super 50/50, 3rd Bingo, Food voucher program, etc. - Conduct Fund Raising events to compliment the capital campaign. - This team will concentrate on the “big ticket items”
